Develop a user-centric data privacy and security model for fintech platforms to enhance customer trust and improve user retention. The model should focus on protecting user data while providing value-added services that keep users engaged and loyal.

Develop an AI-driven last-mile delivery solution for e-commerce platforms that leverages real-time data analytics to ensure timely deliveries during peak seasons, reduce customer complaints, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Develop a niche-targeting and personalized marketing strategy for e-commerce brands like “X” to stand out in a saturated market. The solution should leverage customer data to create enhanced personalization in product recommendations, promotions, and user experiences, helping “X” retain its competitive edge.

Develop a digital transformation framework that helps legacy companies, like “X”, successfully adopt modern technologies and innovate their business models without losing their core business identity or alienating their existing customer base.

Cash Burn and Mismanagement in Startups.

Design a financial management tool for startups that helps them efficiently manage cash burn and maintain profitability during the growth phase. The tool should provide real-time analytics on cost management, cash flow, and financial performance to enable better decision-making and long-term sustainability.

PS8

Scaling Without Sustainable Growth.

Develop a sustainable growth strategy model for startups that aligns scaling efforts with market demand and unit economics, ensuring that growth is profitable and sustainable. The model should help startups minimize the risks of over-expansion while focusing on operational efficiency and market-driven growth.

Eligibility & Guidelines

Open for all students of NIT Agartala and IIIT Agartala.

There can be a maximum of 4 participants and a minimum of 2 participants in each team.
A student cannot be a part of more than 1 team.
Modifications of the teams post registration will not be allowed.
Participants are requested not to resort to any unfair means during the event.
Deviation from any of the above guidelines will lead to immediate disqualification of the entire team.

Judgement / Elimination Criteria

Solution’s Effectiveness: How well does the solution address the identified need? Is it positioned to deliver clear value to the target audience. (10)
Competitive Edge: Does the solution provide a distinct advantage over current market solutions? Does it have potential barriers to entry for competitors. (10)
Uniqueness: Is the approach novel or a unique take on an existing solution. (10)
Revenue Model: Does the team propose a viable revenue model? Is it logical and scalable. (10)
Scalability and Sustainability: Can the business model scale with increased demand, and is it sustainable long-term. (10)
Target Market Identification: Has the team clearly defined the target market and demographics. (10)
Marketing and Sales Strategy: Do they have a realistic go-to-market plan? Are their acquisition strategies well thought out. (10)
Technology Stack: Is the chosen technology stack appropriate, and does it support scaling and security. (10)
Cost Structure and Profitability: Are the cost estimates realistic? Does the project show a path to profitability or break-even. (10)
Investment Readiness: Does the team demonstrate an understanding of potential funding sources and investment needs. (10)

Shortlisting Process

Round 1: Online Submission

In this round the problem statements will be revealed and the team members have to collaborate among themselves, brainstorm creative ideas and develop a comprehensive solution.
On the date of submission the team leader must share the presentation with their solution on the official website of BizHack 2024.
Participants who register after the given dates will get less time as the deadline of submission i.e., 5th November is fixed.So all the teams are requested to submit their final solution before the deadline.

Round 2: Offline Presentation

In this round, the Top 5 teams which qualified from Round 1 will give an offline presentation in front of our panel members on 9th November.

Rules & Regulations

Participants in a team can be from different branches and batches.
Ideas submitted must represent the original work of the team members.
In Round 1, the total number of slides should not exceed 10.
Direct plagiarism of idea is not allowed. However, usage of internet for research is allowed for Round 1.
Participants are expected to come up with new and innovative ideas.
In Round 2, the time limit for the presentation should not be more than 10 minutes.
The decisions made by the members of the panel will be considered final.
